Festival Concert

The Festival officially opens, presented by the Delaware Commission on Italian Heritage and Culture in collaboration with Concert Community will feature a wide selection of celebrated artists, talented musicians, and stirring works. The concert will start at 3:00PM on Sunday, June 10th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church, featuring:

  • Italian Festival Orchestra
  • St. Anthony’s own professional musicians
  • Youth from St. Anthony’s Parish & Grade School
  • Youth from La Piazza di Giustina Italian summer language camp for children.

The Italian Festival is please to welcome into the role of Artistic Director a name already well known to St. Anthony’s, Andrea Arena.  A tremendously talented musician and actress in her own right, Andrea is also a regular cantor at St. Anthony’s for the 11AM Sunday Mass, as well as a cantor for many special events, including the Festival’s own Festa Patronale Feast Day Mass, as well as other special events such as the Columbus Day Mass & Breakfast.  We look forward to all that Andrea will bring to this year’s concert!
